About The Foyle Paddlers Canoe Club

The Club is based at Prehen Boathouse in Derry, Londonderry, Doire. Click here to view map of where boathouse is located.

We have all the specialist equipment necessary for you to learn to canoe. We can coach and assess paddlers who wish to obtain national governing body qualifications.

The Club has qualified coaches and runs trips throughout the year usually on Sundays.

In winter we hope to have pool sessions one evening a week to practice skills indoors/warmth. During the Summer the Club runs introductory courses at Prehen. These are aimed at people with no previous canoeing experience.

During the year the Club will offer the following activities:

• Swimming Pool Sessions
• Competitions
• Camping Trips
• Bar B Ques
